I am looking for something that will allow me to keep and use some 250 access reports in a .NET windows application without having to convert them. What should I use? Can I do this from windows forms application as well?
There are 2 primary options for quickly adapting Access Reports so that they can be called by .NET
* Use Access Reporter
You can make requests to Access Reporter from .NET. This will allow a hassle-free move to .NET without conversion issues that you have with SQL Server Reporting Services.
* Use SQL Server Reporting Services (requires SQL Server). The design will port across with the “Import Access Report” wizard, but anything complicated such as subreports and inline functions will not be ported across.
